3. User Accounts

Parent/Teacher Accounts

  • You must be 18 years or older to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

Child Accounts

  • Must be created and managed by a parent or teacher
  • Require parental consent for children under 13
  • Limited to educational use only

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BrainThing only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Collect or harvest user information
  • Impersonate another person or entity

5. Intellectual Property

All content on BrainThing, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, and software, is the property of BrainThing or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice
  • Refunds are provided according to our refund policy

7. Content Guidelines

While our content is created by professionals, BrainThing:

  • Is educational and not a substitute for professional mental health treatment
  • Should not be used to diagnose or treat mental health conditions
  • Encourages users to seek professional help when needed

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of BrainThing is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting user privacy, especially for children, and comply with COPPA, GDPR, and other applicable laws.

9. Disclaimers

BrainThing is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected immediately
  • The service is free of viruses or harmful components
